Acorn Ponds is conveniently located on Shelter Rock Road just south of the Northern State Parkway and the Long Island Expressway.
Acorn Ponds is a 382-unit condominium community with amenities that include an indoor and outdoor pool, a fitness center, sauna, steam room, four tennis courts, 1 pickleball court, a Clubhouse, a Clubhouse deck for community events and a large outdoor gated park and playground.

Building began in 1979 with Condo 1 being considered “phase” one of the developments.
Condo 1 consists of 17 buildings with 154 units, 4 ponds and is on 13.36 lush green acres.
Condo 2 followed with 13 buildings consisting of 120 units and 2 ponds on 9.64 acres.
Condo 3 was the final phase consisting of 11 buildings with 108 units, only one pond and being built on only 8.42 acres.
In total, Acorn Ponds consists of approximately 32 acres of rolling lush greenery.

FREE Commuters’ Shuttle!

SHUTTLE RIDERS

We would like to advise you that the Village has resumed the Village of North Hills commuter shuttle service. We encourage all Village residents to take advantage of this complimentary service. The Village website, www.villagenorthhills.com, contains the most recent information regarding the service.

All riders must show a valid shuttle pass in order to board the shuttle. No other form of identification is accepted. The shuttle pass must be renewed annually. In order to renew your shuttle pass, please come to Village Hall during normal business hours, 9-5 Monday – Friday. Bring with you two proofs of residency.
