Outdoor Pool

Open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend

Please review the attached Pool Rules and Regulations. Don’t forget to update your resident pool passes for the season and also obtain this year’s guest pass at the condo office.

Passes are required upon entrance into the outdoor pool. 

In order to obtain a resident ID card, you are required to be a resident of Acorn Ponds. If your name is not listed on the contract of sale, you will be asked to show proof of residency (license, passport, etc.).

The Outdoor Pool is open daily (weather permitting) from the Friday of Memorial Day
weekend through Labor Day, during the hours of 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m.

GUEST PASSES
Each unit will be issued one complimentary Guest Pass every year, which is required to be presented to the pool attendant on duty during weekends and holidays that fall on a weekday when guests are accompanying a resident.
Your Guest Pass will be punched once for each guest over the age of 10 years. When all 8 complimentary visits have been punched, a new Guest Pass can be purchased at the on-site management office for $30.00.
If you are at the pool and you have reached your guest limit, your name and unit address will be taken and you will be charged $5 per guest (not to exceed 4 guests).
RESIDENTS MUST ALWAYS ACCOMPANY THEIR GUESTS.

OUTDOOR POOL GENERAL RULES

  1. The Outdoor Pool is open to all unit owners and residents and may not be used for private social gatherings.
  2. Residents must bring their Updated Resident Passes to enter the pool.
  3. On weekends and Holidays that fall on a weekday, Guest Passes must be used when bringing guests. The Guest Pass will be punched for each guest that accompanies a resident. Once you have exceeded the limit on the card, an additional card can be purchased at the On-site Management Office for $30.
  4. If you are at the pool and you have reached your guest limit, your name and unit address will be taken and you will be charged $5 per guest (not to exceed 4 guests) and added to your monthly invoice common charges paid to the HOA.
  5. Beach cover-ups and shoes should be worn to and from the pool area and inside the Clubhouse.
  6. Bathers are requested to shower before entering the pool.
  7. NO FOOD is allowed in the pool area. The rear of the Clubhouse or the park bench are available for eating.
  8. Drinks are allowed in the pool area in plastic containers or cans.
  9. Smoking is prohibited in the pool area, including e-cigarettes, cigars, pipes etc. Smoking is allowed on the right side of the Clubhouse deck, where a receptacle is provided for cigarette disposal.
  10. Trash and drinking cups must be cleaned up by residents before leaving. It is NOT the lifeguard’s job.
  11. Lounge Chairs CAN NOT BE RESERVED at the pool. Articles will be given to the lifeguards for safekeeping.
  12. Umbrellas are to be moved by the pool attendants ONLY.
  13. Non-toilet trained children MUST WEAR RUBBER PANTS OR SWIMMIES when in the pool.
  14. DIAPER CHANGING is NOT permitted at the pool or deck area. Changing stations are available in the Clubhouse in both the men’s and ladies’ rooms.
  15. All dirty diapers must be disposed of in a plastic bag and put in the dumpster outside the Clubhouse.
  16. Only stroller-type or folding carriages are permitted at the pool area.
  17. Residents must be with their guests at all times.
  18. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at ALL TIMES when using the outdoor pool or when on the outdoor pool deck.
  19. No diving or jumping is allowed into the pool unless from the diving board.
  20. No running is allowed on the pool deck.
  21. Toys, ball throwing, water guns, rafts, inner tubes, or other objects are not permitted in the pool. Pool Noodles are available at the lifeguard station for your use.
  22. Directions from the Lifeguards MUST be followed at all times.

The Lifeguard’s main concern is YOUR SAFETY!
