Acorn Ponds Park

Acorn Ponds features a beautiful 31,119 square-foot community park where residents congregate and children play. An ample number of benches and picnic tables provide wonderful spots to catch up with neighbors or watch over kids as they enjoy the playground.


Lowell H. Kane Park

Lowell H. Kane Village Park , located off Willis Ave. West of Shelter Rock Rd. is open from dawn until dusk for all village residents. The park is a vibrant and welcoming space designed specifically to cater to the needs and interests of young children.  At the heart of the park lies a colorful and expansive playground area filled with various equipment tailored to children ages two to five. There are swings, slides, spring riders, a teeter-totter, a playscape, and a half basketball court, all constructed with safety in mind.  Soft rubberized flooring ensures a safe landing for playful children. Surrounding the playground, there are designated resting areas equipped with benches.

Lowell H. Kane Village Park is open from dawn until dusk for all village residents.


“The Village Walking Path”

Also known as Wimbledon Dr is a road used by many residents to exercise, walk, jug, walking a dog, etc. It is a half mile in length and located between the Northern State Parkway and Acorn Ponds. Access to the road is at the end of Acorn Ponds Drive or Pheasant Run. The path is maintained by the Village of North Hills.
